The word "coach" is associated with sports and the development of top tennis players, footballers, athletes etc. This is not our area of specialization. Nevertheless, there are various transferable lessons.

| How is Coaching Different from Therapy or Counseling? |
Coaching is not therapy, which usually deals with the past, nor does it concentrate on giving the client answers. Coaching is more action oriented and focuses on the present and future. Coaching is proven to Work When Two Factors are Present:

| Do I have to be a manager or executive to benefit from Coaching? |
|
There are various levels of coaching. Executive coaching is designed for the executives and top level managers; these professionals are already in authority and / or are decision makers. Executive coaching process serves as the "software" that enhances their effectiveness and efficiency. The tools and programs designed for executive coaching are designed with the presumption that those who undergo through the coaching process applies them immediately and are therefore they not applicable for the operational level professionals who are not yet in decision making capacity.
Career coaching on the other hand is more broad a professional at any level can benefit from this process.

| How do I get started with Executive / Career coaching? |
Once you decide to go through the coaching process, you'll complete a detailed career assessment process with a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) / certified professional career coach (CPCC). This interview will last between 90 - 120 minutes, may be in-person or via telephone.
Upon completion of the assessment interview, we will prepare a coaching agreement that is based on your needs, and which outlines your coaching schedule with expected outcomes, your investment and duration of the coaching process too.

| How long does the coaching take? |
|
We offer tailor-made services and the length of the coaching programme is dependent on the individual needs as stipulated in the coaching service agreement. It ranges between 1 - 12 months. However, we build a long-term relationship with our clients and continue being their strategic sounding boards, accountability partners and motivation officers long after the coaching process. This is follow-up and support is offered through coaching clubs, mastermind groups and individual coaching clinics.

| How do I pay for executive coaching? |
|
If you are based in Kenya, you can pay by cash, personal cheques or direct debits. For our clients enrolling from abroad, we agree on a payment modality that is flexible and convenient for both parties

| What will be expected of me during the coaching process? |
|
You will be required to have commitment to excellence, and be willing to step out of your 'comfort zone' into a new 'achievement zone' with the help of your coach.

| What if I need more job-search assistance than just writing a résumé? |
|

Your résumé is both unique and confidential. Successful résumés are unique and say very personal things about the owner. We believe that each résumé has to be as unique as the person it represents and we therefore steer away from the ordinary résumé phrases you'll find on sample "professional" résumés. Simply put, you don't want your résumé packed with the clichés that everyone else is using. We help you focus on what you want to say, and market yourself as an extra-ordinary executive; not on what someone else has already said.

While we cannot fully guarantee your employment, we are confident that our documents will get you noticed and moving in the right direction and the on-going testimonies from our clients are our back-up. | How do I get started with the résumé writing process? |
The executive résumé writing process is simple:
- Send us your current résumé for the initial profiling process.
- We will send you personal profiling form to complete and submit.
- You will be scheduled for a more detailed career assessment process, which will form the basis of the contract.
- Once you commission your personal project through paying the agreed fees, you will have a personalized meeting with your coach (what we call proprietary consultation) to help you extract your professional accomplishments.
- Your résumé writer will review your responses, analyze additional materials (such as performance evaluations, reference letters, targeted sample job postings), and organize the data to emphasize your strongest qualities in the most strategic places; and follow up with you if we need additional information.
- You will receive your new resume in MS Word format via email within 6-10 business days (or earlier if you have made prior arrangements).
- Your project is complete when you are 100% satisfied with your résumé.

| How much will my resume cost me? |
|
The cost of writing an executive resume is based on a number of individualized factors such as your field of endeavor, level of the position you seek, years of experience, and complexity of writing the document. As such the fee is quoted on an individualized basis. We will quote you an exact price after we have had an opportunity to discuss and evaluate your particular background and situation.
It is worth noting that while we are not the most expensive résumé service in the market, we're not bargain-basement priced, either. Our clients retain us and refer their friends to us because we are recognized as one of the best in the nation at producing results, not because we are necessarily the cheapest.
Our guarantee is that your next job offer (after we have given your résumé a make-over) will include a pay raise that far exceeds the fee that we charge for our services.

| How long does the process take? |
|
Ordinarily, the whole process has a turnaround time of 10-14 business days. However, if your need is urgent, we are often able to accommodate an expedited timeframe. (Résumés needed within 72 hours are subject to a priority handling fee of 20%)

| What if I'm not satisfied with my documents? |
|
We take all commercially reasonable steps to make any revisions you desire. Client satisfaction, and therefore your sucess is our number one goal. Using your feedback, we will re-work the documents to meet your expectations.

| How do I get my résumé updated? |
|
We make it easy for you to update your résumé as your career progresses. All client résumés are kept on file at no charge, so when you need to add a new position, new credentials, or new skills to your résumé, all you will do is inform us of the desired updates; if they are significant, we will draw a fee note for you and advise accordingly.

| What if I don't live in Nairobi? |
|
Regardless of where they live, we will provide you with seamless service via telephone and email. Our programme is not restricted by geographic boundaries (though majority of our clientele are somewhat based in Nairobi, Kenya) and we have worked with clients from other major cities in Kenya (Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Nanyuki, Naivasha etc) and abroad (Zambia, Sudan CAR, DRC, UK, Uganda etc). All that is required is your drive to be excellent in your career; we are always available to walk the journey with you no matter the challenges by embracing global ICT facilities at our disposal.

| I only have time to work on my résumé on evenings and weekends. Is this a problem? |
|
Our working hours are 09:00AM - 05:30 PM (Mondays - Friday) and 09:30AM - 01:00 PM (Saturdays). Any sessions scheduled outside working hours have to be agreed upon between the client and the coach. In some instances, there are additional charges that go with this arrangement.
Our clients take coaching very seriously, and it is not something they undertake as a by the way. They therefore create time to be available for one day in a week at the scheduled time.
